Yes. Professors have the choice to use the installable version of BOSS or BOSS
Web at the Course creation stage.
How to decide if I should use BOSS Web vs BOSS?
BOSS Web is designed to be accessible by pretty much all types of
configurations as detailed above, but requires a permanent and reliable
internet connection.
BOSS installable version only works on Windows operating systems but requires
minimal internet connection.
